The automobile industry is rapidly changing. To say that the car market is undergoing a revolution is an understatement. With manufacturers seeking more eco-friendly options, electric cars are reaching new capabilities. And it does not stop there either, With wild new sensors and radars, these cars are becoming technological powerhouses. If your set of wheels is beginning to disappoint, check out this impressive list of cars which just arrived on our streets.
Toyota Venza
Estimated cost: $30,000
The Toyota Venza is back again and is sleek as ever. It may not be the greatest off-roader but it sure is an amazing lifestyle vehicle. The car can go up to 40 mpg while offering a standard all-wheel-drive by mounting an electric motor on the back axle.
The combination of the brake torque vectoring and sport-tuned suspension make it a fun and enjoyable drive. There is also the option of the panoramic electro-chromatic glass roof. This little feature can either brighten or darkens with just the push of a button.
Ford Mustang Mach-E
Estimated cost: $44,995
The newest Ford Mustang is essentially a four-door battery-electric SUV. It also looks really nothing like the previous model but is certainly the most powerful model yet at 460-hp. The Mach-E GT will go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds.
It relies on two battery packs to power both its standard rear-axle motor as well as the optional front-axle motor (76-kW-hr Standard Range pack or a 99-kW-hr Extended Range setup.) The car is estimated to have a driving range of 300 miles between charges with a light foot on the pedal.
Genesis GV80
Estimated cost: $49,925
Finally, Genesis released their very first SUV for the new year. The GV80 is not huge, though can seat five people, and in quite a bit of luxury if we might add. This thing features some beautifully diamond-stitched leather upholstery and ash wood trim.
For the U.S., the engine will include a 2.5-liter turbocharged I-4 making 300 hp as well as a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6.
Cadillac Escalade
Estimated cost: $77,500-$102,000
With its 6.2-liter V-8 and I-6 diesel engines, and 10-speed transmission, the steep price is well justified. This machine also comes with some impressively techy features like a 38 inch OLED display screen, AR navigation system, night vision, and more.
There is also a diverse range of colors offered that come decorated with a plethora of different woods and various leather stitchings.
Chevrolet Tahoe
Estimated cost: $52,995-$73,595
There's a lot to write home about this one, but probably the most impressive feature is the independent rear suspension.
The wheelbase has also been extended by 4.1 inches and 1.3 inches.
Ford Bronco Sport
Estimated cost: $30,000
Introducing the new Ford Bronco Sport. AKA the Ford Escape's rougher cousin. Geared for off-road driving, the more compact SUV is unibody and front-wheel-drive based. With that said, Ford still considers it part of the Bronco gang. We can expect to see the new Bronco have 180-hp and 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder as its core engine as well as a 250-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine as an additional option.
Obviously, the all-wheel-drive will come standard.
Nissan Rogue
Be prepared for some amazing styling both interior and exterior wise. This is an expectation that Nissan will have a 2.5-liter inline-four under the hood and potentially even have VC-Turbo inline-four under the hood of the sportier model.
The interior's digital dashboard will be pretty impressive with things like a 9.0-inch infotainment screen.
Volkswagen Tiguan
Estimated cost: $26,000
The refreshed Volkswagen will still be easy to recognize, even with its slightly sportier new nose and flashy LED lighting (front and back.) This global bestseller will be getting a cool upgrade as it borrows the aesthetic from the Atlas Cross Sport.
The racier style gives this car the perfect edge.
Alfa Romeo Tonale
Estimated cost: $35,000
We expect the Alfa to have a front-drive based on the option of all-wheel drive with a small SUV build. The Tonale Concept was possibly powered by a plug-in hybrid drivetrain. The 1.3-liter turbo-four in front and Europe-only Jeep Renegade plug-in hybrid gives us 240 hp in total.
There may be a possibility that Alfa will get the non-hybrid option, presumably a 2.0-liter turbocharged I-4.
Audi E-Tron Sportback
Estimated cost: $77,400
With a brand new roof, a tailgate, and redone rear quarter panels, the new E-Tron Sportback has an even stronger presence and a more sporty appearance. Be prepared to benefit from several technological advances, too.
The front motor will now have the ability to disengage under normal driving. In addition, the 95-kW-hr battery's thermal management system will be far more efficient, as well as the battery system.
