The Princess of Wales, Kate, has shared an update on her health, revealing she is still undergoing cancer treatment and has "a few more months" to go. Despite her ongoing battle, she expressed hope and determination, stating she is "making good progress" but experiences "good days and bad days."
Kate's statement, released alongside a new photograph of her, detailed her journey through treatment, including chemotherapy, since being diagnosed with an unspecified type of cancer earlier this year. She described the fluctuating nature of her illness: "On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to your body resting," she said. "On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home."
Despite her condition, Kate confirmed she will attend the King's birthday parade, also known as Trooping the Colour, tomorrow in London. She plans to be with her family, appearing in a carriage alongside her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, to watch the military parade and then join the Buckingham Palace balcony for the traditional flypast.
Rhiannon Mills highlighted the positive nature of Kate's message amidst the challenges. Mills noted that speculation about Kate's health had been increasing, along with questions about her presence at Trooping the Colour. Kate's confirmation to attend the event will be seen as positive news, showcasing her desire to be with her children and participate in this significant royal occasion.
