It has been confirmed that Rob Page has been dismissed as the manager of the national team of Wales.
The announcement follows the Dragons' failure to qualify for the Euros in March.
While England and Scotland secured their spots in Germany, Wales missed out on a place in the finals after losing to Poland on penalties in the playoffs.
Despite being on a seven-match unbeaten run, a 4-0 friendly defeat to Slovakia on Sunday, 9 June, which was compounded by a goalless draw with Gibraltar the previous Thursday, led to Page's dismissal.
The 49-year-old made history in 2022 by becoming the first manager in 64 years to lead Wales at a World Cup.
However, a 2-0 loss to Iran and a 3-0 defeat to England ensured Wales exited at the group stage.
Page succeeded Ryan Giggs, initially as caretaker manager of the men's senior squad in November 2020. He guided Wales to the knockout stage of Euro 2020, thanks to a 1-1 draw with Switzerland and a 2-0 win over Turkey in the group stage of the finals. His role was made permanent in June 2022.
