Pregnant Woman and Unborn Baby Die in Crash with Police Car in London

A tragic accident occurred in Eltham, southeast London, where a 38-year-old heavily pregnant woman and her unborn baby lost their lives in a collision with an unmarked police car.

The crash took place on the A20 near the junction with Kidbrooke Park Road at around 6pm on Thursday.

Two Metropolitan Police officers who were in the unmarked vehicle were taken to the hospital but have since been discharged.

It is currently unclear whether the woman was driving the car, and no further information has been provided about additional injuries related to the incident.

Authorities are likely to conduct an investigation into the crash to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
