Fetterman Issues Warning to Democrats about Ellon-Trump Alliance

October 19, 2024

Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania has expressed concern about Elon Musk's endorsement and active participation in Donald Trump's 2024 presidential campaign.

Fetterman warned that Musk's support for Trump, particularly through rallies and financial contributions, could be a serious challenge for Democrats both in Pennsylvania and across the country.

Musk, the world's richest man with a net worth of $247 billion, has transitioned from a Trump sceptic to a strong supporter following an attempted assassination of Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July. Musk has since appeared with Trump at rallies and held a two-hour campaign call with him in August.

In addition to his public backing, Musk has donated at least $75 million to a pro-Trump SuperPAC, positioning him as one of the largest individual donors in the 2024 election.

Fetterman cautioned fellow Democrats not to underestimate Musk’s influence, likening him to a "Tony Stark" figure and suggesting that his involvement could sway voters.
