Hezbollah's chief media officer, Mohammad Afif, was killed in an Israeli strike on a densely populated area in central Beirut.
The attack in Ras al-Nabaa injured three others and targeted a neighbourhood where many displaced people had sought refuge.
Known for managing Hezbollah's media relations and Al-Manar television, Afif recently commented on the group’s readiness for a prolonged conflict.
His death follows intensified Israeli strikes in Lebanon since late September, part of broader efforts to weaken Hezbollah’s capabilities across military, political, and social fronts.
