Russia has expelled a British diplomat over allegations of espionage, according to reports from Russian state media.
The TASS news agency, citing the FSB security service, stated that the diplomat, who remains unnamed, was stripped of their accreditation for allegedly providing false information upon entering Russia.
The FSB further claimed that their activities exhibited "signs of intelligence operations."
Interfax news agency also reported the expulsion, describing it as being based on accusations of "espionage."
