A UK ticket-holder has won a staggering £177 million EuroMillions jackpot, making them the third-largest winner in National Lottery history.
The winning numbers from the draw were 07, 11, 25, 31, and 40, with Lucky Stars 09 and 12. The ticket-holder has yet to claim the prize, prompting officials to urge players to check their tickets immediately.
Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at Allwyn, the National Lottery operator, said:
"Wow, it has been a truly incredible night for a single UK ticket-holder who has scooped tonight's jaw-dropping £177m EuroMillions jackpot!
"The win has landed them a spot on the National Lottery's Rich List, as they have become the third biggest National Lottery winner of all time!

This win adds to a legacy of major EuroMillions successes in the UK. The largest ever National Lottery prize, £195 million, was won by an anonymous ticket-holder on 19 July 2022. The second-biggest winners, Joe and Jess Thwaite from Gloucester, claimed £184.3 million on 10 May 2022 with a Lucky Dip ticket.
If unclaimed, the £177 million prize will join a list of other substantial prizes waiting for their owners. Players are reminded to validate their tickets as soon as possible to avoid missing out on their life-changing fortune.
