WhatsApp Just Gave 2 Billion Users A Reason To Stay

Meta has reported a "technical issue" affecting users of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
In a statement shared on the X platform, the company said: "We’re aware that a technical issue is impacting some users’ ability to access our apps. We’re working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and apologise for any inconvenience."
Downdetector, a platform where users can report issues with popular apps and websites, recorded a significant spike in complaints about Meta's services starting around 6 p.m. At 6:04 p.m., there were 23,000 reports related to Facebook, and by 6:38 p.m., nearly 18,000 reports had been filed about WhatsApp.
