Analyst View

Investors stakes on the U.S. stock indexes was mixed for Wednesday as uncertainties surrounding the US Treasury mellowed. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 90 points, or 0.27%, while the S&P 500 index advanced 0.16% but  the Nasdaq Composite index declined by 0.24%.

The FED Chairman's briefing on deep inflation situation of the US on Tuesday sent the 10-year yield to 1.54%, its highest level since June, where it also finished on Wednesday. 

European bourses saw the bulls coming to the market with all the markets in the positive, France’s CAC 40 rising 0.83%, Germany’s DAX 30 increasing 0.77% and Britain’s FTSE 100 climbing 1.14%. In Asia, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index jumped 0.67% while China’s Shanghai Composite and Japan’s Nikkei 225 declined 1.83% and 2.12%, respectively.  

 
The commodities market saw the West Texas Intermediate crude oil falling by  46 cents to $74.83 a barrel and gold tumbled $49.30 to $1,721.50 an ounce.
