The Average Price of a Pint in the UK Hits £5

The cost of a pint of draught beer has now surpassed £5 on average, according to The Morning Advertiser. This marks an increase from £4.82 in December 2024, as reported by the Office for National Statistics.

Most Expensive Pint

  • Beavertown Neck Oil is now the UK’s priciest pint, averaging £6.36.
  • It’s most expensive in London (£6.92) and cheapest in the North East (£5.70).

Where Beer Costs the Most (and Least)

  • London: Most expensive region, with an average pint costing £6.16.
  • Midlands: Cheapest, with an average pint at just £4.47.

Good News: Some Beers Have Dropped in Price

Despite rising averages, 10 out of 33 beers in the survey have become cheaper since August 2024, including:
