The WWE Hall of Famer appeared at Donald Trump’s ‘mega-rally’ in New York City, endorsing the former president before a crowd of thousands.
Tens of thousands of Trump supporters attended the sold-out rally at Madison Square Garden, a city known for its Democratic stronghold.
Hogan, in full wrestling attire, hyped the crowd of ‘Trump-a-maniacs’ by declaring, ‘This is the house that Hulk-a-mania built!’ The 71-year-old, whose real name is Terry Bollea, has been a vocal Trump supporter, having previously joined him at the Republican National Convention.
Addressing protesters outside the venue who projected the phrase ‘Trump Praised Hitler’ onto the arena, Hogan stated, ‘I don’t see any stinking Nazis or domestic terrorists here. Only hard-working men and women who are real Americans, brother.’
He also referenced a viral video while critiquing Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, saying, ‘When I hear Kamala speak… it sounds like a script from Hollywood with a really, really bad actress!’
As he left the stage, Hogan attempted to sign off by ripping open his shirt—a signature move from his wrestling days—but struggled to do so, drawing jeers and sarcastic remarks from online critics.
