Deliveroo users have faced significant frustration today as the food delivery app experienced widespread outages, particularly affecting London just before lunchtime.
The outage, which began around 11am, left hundreds unable to access the app, with 95% of the reported problems stemming from app access issues.
Down Detector noted a spike in reports, with 193 users reporting trouble, and customers took to social media to express their disappointment.
One frustrated customer shared that Deliveroo only offered an £8 refund for a £34 order that was ruined, sparking further complaints about the platform's response.
A spokesperson for Deliveroo acknowledged the issue, apologising and assuring users that their technical team is working to resolve the problem. However, many are still waiting for compensation and a swift fix.
