Dubai Earns Prestigious Spot in Top 10 Global Cities for Livability, Lovability, and Prosperity, as per the World’s Best Cities Report by Resonance.
Dubai outranks prominent cities such as San Francisco, Amsterdam, Los Angeles, Washington, Istanbul, Vienna, Toronto, Boston, Melbourne, Zurich, Sydney, and others in terms of living standards and economic opportunities. London takes the lead in the rankings, followed by Paris, New York, Tokyo, Singapore, Dubai, San Francisco, Barcelona, Amsterdam, and Seoul.
The report assesses cities based on livability, lovability, and prosperity indices, encompassing factors like walkability, landmarks, recreational amenities, airport connectivity, culture, education, business presence, startups, and more.
Dubai, renowned for iconic developments like the Palm Jumeirah and the Burj Khalifa, secures the eighth spot in the “Attractions” subcategory due to its array of extravagant malls, aquariums, indoor ski parks, themed entertainment, and family-friendly resorts, all contributing to its appeal.
In the Arab world rankings, Abu Dhabi follows as the second-best city globally at 25th place, followed by Riyadh (28), Doha (36), Kuwait (58), and Muscat (89).
Chris Fair, President and CEO of Resonance Consultancy, notes that cities worldwide are reevaluating their desirability criteria for living, working, and leisure post-pandemic, with a focus on outdoor spaces and urban experiences.
