MSNBC is cancelling Joy Reid’s evening show, "The ReidOut," as part of a broader network restructuring under new president Rebecca Kutler. Reid’s final episode airs this week, with her 7 p.m. ET slot being replaced by a show featuring Symone Sanders-Townsend, Michael Steele, and Alicia Menendez from "The Weekend."

Alongside Reid’s departure, MSNBC is reshuffling its primetime lineup. Alex Wagner will transition to special assignment coverage, while Jen Psaki is expected to take over a weekday primetime slot, possibly 9 p.m. ET, as Rachel Maddow scales back to one night per week.

Kutler, who officially became MSNBC president on February 12, is also looking to bring in new voices like Eugene Daniels (Politico) and Melissa Murray (NYU law professor).

More MSNBC programming changes are expected in the coming weeks as MSNBC navigates a corporate spinoff from Comcast under new parent company SpinCo.
