Analyst Views
U.S Markets, U.S. stocks retreated across the board in Wednesday trading amidst fear of inflation and recession and as  Russia's war on Ukraine entered its 35th day. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell over 65 points or 0.2%, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite slipped 0.6% and 1.2%, respectively.

Treasury Bills,the 10-year Treasury hovered around 2.35% after the yield curve briefly inverted a potential recessionary signal.

Commodities, U.S. oil rose to $107.82 per barrel, while Brent, the global benchmark, hit $113.45.

Semiconductors, Chipmakers are in focus after Micron lifted its forecast and now expects to earn $8.7 billion in third quarter revenue. "With outstanding first half results, Micron is on track to deliver record revenue and robust profitability in fiscal 2022" said President and CEO Sanjay Mehrotra.

Bonds, Movement in the bond market on Tuesday has Wall Street concerned about the possibility of a recession. Bond investors pushed up short-term rates to the point where yields on the two-year Treasury were actually higher than the 10-year Treasury.

Bitcoin traded around $47,000.

European Market, The markets are hesitant and pulling back not being sure on Russian promises over Ukraine. London's FTSE climbed by 0.09% to 7,572.09, Germany's DAX  retreated by 0.04% to 14,600.59 while France's CAC also pulled back by 0.18% to 6,729.67. 

Asia MarketAsian stocks The investors' sentiments are mixed as the China Oligarch consider moving their funds to Singapore. Tokyo's Nikkei 225 index retreated by 0.73% to 27,821.43, the Hang Seng in Hong Kong climbed by  1.06% to 21,996.85 while China's Shanghai also had a jump by 0.43%  to 3,252.2.


Cryptocurrencies, at an intraday range of $46,912.75 by the hour and a maximum of $47,434.45 in 24 hours.
